Tomoya Sakura (Shinohara Ryoko) is a 39-year old tomboy who hasn't had any romantic endeavors in over ten years-- until 24-year old Casanova, Saeki Hiroto (Miura Haruma) schemes his way into her heart one less-than-fateful night. Sakura's boss and good friend, Tachibana Rintaro (Fujiki Naohito) catches wind of Hiroto's dishonest intentions (so he thinks) and vows to protect her, realizing his own romantic feelings for her. Sakura and Hiroto fall in love and get engaged, admist lots of trepidation by Sakura. This mature romantic comedy about friends, relationships, and sex will keep you highly entertained.

This is one of the sweetest, funniest comedies about love I have seen in a long time! Shinohara Ryoko and Miura Haruma absolutely shine in their roles in this TV series. Shinohara is perfect as the clunky, tomboyish never married 39 year old hair dresser. She is such a good actress and handled her character with so much charm. Miura was perfect as the handsome, boyish younger man who falls in love with her, which was not his intent at the beginning. Fujiki's character was more annoying than appealing. Way too loud, pushy and condescending towards the lead female character whom he eventually falls in love with, becoming Miura's rival. All in all, a lovely, fun filled series that reminds us that it's never too late for love.
